Checking for Windows Updates

Windows updates will automatically be installed periodically. If an update is needed immediatly the process below can be used to check for updates on demand.
- Click on Start
- Click on Settings (gear shaped icon)
- Click on Update & Security
- If there is a restart pending to install updates this will need to be completed before proceeding. After the restart please return to this step to check for updates again.
- If it says, "You're up to date", you can click on Check for updates to check for new updates. If new updates are available these will begin installing.

- If updates were installed you may be prompted to restart your computer. Please do this now if prompted, then check for updates again after the computer has finished restarting.
